Complete Foundation Restoration & Waterproofing

This phase includes  removing  all aged and deterioration of mortar, bricks and stone. We then rehydrate the aged lime and soak in bonding fortified slurry solution. Depending on the water level of basement a mortar mix is determined. Natural stone and hard or soft bricks are selected for masonry repairs. We offer complete interior repointing of all masonry joints providing strength and longevity to your foundation. Brick repairs and spalling brick work are replaced or repaired if needed. Trained professional masons make all masonry repairs with a licensed Construction Supervisor on sight at all times. Upon completion of all masonry repairs we use a lime based base coating while treating and restoring walls. During all phases of lime masonry repairs we hydrate walls and new masonry work to prevent cracking.  We then apply a traditional brown scratch coat and top coat with sealants. All stone foundations restorations receive essentially three new layers of protection. A masonry repair coat, a lime coating with different levels of fortifications and finally a waterproof sealant coat. All sealants are masonry cement based we do not use rubberized non breathable sealants on masonry foundations.
