 Our stone masonry and historic foundation restoration brings us from Gloucester to Concord on a regular basis. Being traditionally trained in the masonry field from our father and grandfather we were shown how mix mortar, mix lime putty, mix and apply lime plaster, lay bricks, set stone, cut stone, finish cement, stucco and lay pavers along with a full spectrum of masonry building rules and building codes. 

From a young age we inherited a very special skill. Being shown how to work with aged lime mortar in Historic homes. How to restore a fieldstone foundation. How to re-hydrate the lime, treat the lime with calcium prior to repairs. The myriad of treatments used in the curing of different limes and (NHL) lime putty.   The ever important lessons on what is a stone structural shim supporting stone foundation walls and whats a loose stone. With time came family masonry lessons and experience in foundation restoration and basement waterproofing.  

When old enough we were encouraged to attend masonry institute for training and certification. Today we hold Massachusetts builders license, specialty mason license. 

 Carry full insurance coverage and legal payroll. Our company is incorporated and a real legal entity in Massachusetts. We are accountable to you the customer, the building department and the state building association. This accountability spells job security for the consumer.
